Jitendra created Core Awakening Journey as a pathway for others to benefit from his life journey that ranged from abuse survivor to spiritual enlightenment to emotional breakdown to shamanic descent into emergence in a new kind of integrated, embodied awakening. This emergence brought him a detailed understanding of how to weave divergent dimensions of self together into a peaceful, passionate and empowered wholeness of being. This “new” embodied awakening is the emergent evolutionary edge of our time.
Core Awakening Journey uniquely connects your immediate experience with your body—breath, deep sensory awareness, visceral warmth of your heart, emotion, multi levels of thought and belief—and an ever-expanding awareness of your source of Self. From this foundation of integrated self awareness, we can more effectively influence and change all levels of our human systems: social justice, economy, governance, resource management, et al.
There is a direct relationship between the consciousness of the individual and the systems in which we collectively live and operate; systems reflect our inner value. Not necessarily the value we speak, but the value encoded in our bodies’ survival mechanisms. As a species, we are awakening to restore dignity to our human experience, to facilitate a healing and transformation toward social, economic and environmental justice. ”A world that works for all” is echoing louder and further each day with growing conviction and commitment. Personal and spiritual transformation is now emerging to join with activism for justice.
New thinking is generating solutions to problems and challenges our old thinking created. We are awakening to being the change. Jitendra’s particular skill and wisdom lies in understanding how to bring this shift from existing as an ideal in the mind’s eye, to a knowing in the body. His mission, via Core Awakening Journey and other social change projects, is to facilitate and support empowered, heart-centered individuals in collaborations that transform old systems or create new alternatives.
